What Can Be Used in My Quilt?
A T-shirt quilt can be made from more than just T-shirts. You can include sweatshirts, sweaters, pants or jeans, and even robes. Dressier items like collared or dress shirts and neckties can add unique textures, while sentimental pieces such as baby clothes, baby blankets, or even a beloved stuffed animal or lovie can bring extra meaning. Sports jerseys, pinnies, or patches—from Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, or athletic teams—are also perfect additions. For those with treasured memorabilia, pennant flags, dance or cheer uniforms, or bedding like pillowcases can be incorporated as well. Please, just no wool.
